COL Brant D. Hoskins is a native of Albany, Oregon, and was commissioned in July 1993 as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Southern Oregon State College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Masters’ degrees in Adult Education, Theater Operations and Strategic Studies.
His military education includes the Chemical Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Command and General Staff College, the School for Advanced Military Studies, and the U.S. Army War College. In his 28 years of service, COL Hoskins has served in a variety of command and staff positions. His previous assignments include: Battalion Chemical Officer, Platoon Leader, Detachment Commander, and Brigade Chemical Officer, 1st Armored Division; Chemical Officer Basic Course Teaching, Advising and Counseling (TAC) Officer, U.S. Army Chemical School; Assistant Regimental Chemical Officer and Chemical Company Commander, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment; Mechanized Infantry and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Company Observer, Controller, Trainer, National Training Center; CBRN Planner, 20th Support Command (CBRNE); CWMD Planner, Headquarters, Multi-National Forces – Iraq; Chief of Plans, 20th Support Command (CBRNE); Chief of Staff, U.S. Army CBRN School; Commander, 110th Chemical Battalion (Technical Escort); Deputy Director, Security and Protection, Headquarters, Combined Joint Task Force - OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE; Commander, U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground; Operations, Plans, and Training Officer, 20th CBRNE Command.
